Candidate requirements:

1. Must be a graduating high school senior or college student 21 years of age or younger

2. Must be a Canadian resident

3. Must be enrolled in University or College

 

Please include the following:

1. Describe your school, community, 4-H and/or Junior Farmer involvement. An essay between 250 and 500 words.

2. An essay no more then two typed pages describing your experience in livestock showing along with your future goals and career plans.

3. A letter of recommendation to accompany application

4. Send a photo with the completed application by Sept. 1/2012.

 

 

Four $500 scholarships will be awarded to individuals displaying a great passion for the livestock show industry and/ or livestock production. Applicants must display a great interest in the livestock industry. The scholarship is funded solely through RK Animal Supplies Ltd. The Scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee of three industry leaders that will be kept confidential to promote objectivity. Members of the Reid family or RK Animal Supplies employees or immediate family members will not serve on this

committee nor will they be eligible to receive the scholarships. All scholarship recipients will be

announced on our website after Sept. 1, 2012.
